Our Story

In September 2023, Simone and David were still students, drowning in the endless cycle of writing thousands of flashcards manually every day for their exams. Meanwhile, Stefan was busy developing a GPT plugin for his previous company when, out of the blue, a message from David popped up: "Please make me a plugin for creating flashcards automatically from my notes." David was joking, but for Stefan, that message sparked something—a realization that there might be something worth building. Curious, Stefan took the idea seriously and started working on a plugin. When he finally showed it to David, it immediately caught his attention. The potential was undeniable.

They reached out to Simone, knowing that with his help, they could turn this simple tool into something much bigger. For months, Stefan and Simone poured their energy into refining the product, constantly seeking feedback from everyone who tested it. Then, in January 2024, it hit us—we weren't just building a tool; we were changing the way hundreds of people studied. From that moment on, we knew this was our mission. And so, we committed ourselves fully to building Flashka, determined to make studying smarter, faster, and more efficient for students everywhere.

Code wizard who once built AI for cybersecurity but now dedicates his genius to making sure your flashcards generate faster than your brain can forget them. When he's not optimizing algorithms, he's probably debugging something… or checking the Discord.

David Djokovic

CEO & Co-Founder

Former Management student who got tired of manually writing thousands of flashcards and decided to trick his friends into building an app instead. Now spends his days making sure Flashka doesn't crash and everyone drinks enough coffee.

Design guru who believes studying should be fun (or at least not soul-crushing). Used to design fintech apps but figured helping students stay sane was a nobler cause. Now making sure Flashka looks great, feels smooth, and works like magic.

Flashka's first founding engineer who once built software for energy and drone startups but decided flashcards were way cooler than flying robots. Now he's the evil genius behind every setting you tweak—if something breaks, it was definitely on purpose.

Once dreamed of becoming a professional footballer and got surprisingly close - but looking back, he's glad it didn't work out. These days he builds the future of studying instead and genuinely couldn't imagine a better outcome. As a psychology student and future psychotherapist, he also acts as the team's unofficial HR - whether anyone asked for it or not.
