Improvements to the sharing features

You can now choose between sharing one of your decks as originally generated by the AI or with your edits!

This should make it easier for you to collaborate with friends!

PDF Pages selection

What if you want to generate flashcards only from some pages of your PDF? From today you can!

Now when uploading the PDF a new UI will show up asking you to select from which pages you want your flashcards to be generated!

Alpha Release: Welcome to Flashka.ai!

Today, I am happy to release the alpha version of a new feature - Flashka.ai! This is an early access version and I am eager to gather your feedback and enhance the experience.

You might have noticed a new button, that is how you can get access the feature.

Flashka.ai is designed to help you create flashcards for any topic you want and start memorizing them seamlessly.

Since the release of the plugin over 6000 decks have been created! The eager Anki users really loved it, but for who has less experience with flashcards and is less tech-savvy the experience was not great. Moreover, Anki has always been hard to get into. That is why I have started Flashka.ai.

I am working hard to improve and expand the capabilities of Memo, so stay tuned for future updates. Please be aware, this is an early access version of Flashka.ai, and it needs a lot more work to be able to be considered an Anki replacement for anyone.

You can sign up to to Flashka.ai to get early access to the features. If you are really eager to try it out as soon as possible, join the Discord server or reach out to me!

Performance improvements and bug fixes

I have been working on improving the performance of the website and fixing some bugs. The main one is regarding the images: over the past week 1000 images have been requested! I am happy a lot of you have found this feature useful! Some of them were duplicated, and they loaded kinda slowly.

Now images are stored differently, so that they should be fetched more quickly from the selection view and, if you are using the same image multiple times, it should be fetched only once.

Starting a Discord Channel! Join us!

I have decided to open a Discord channel. The idea is to have a place where we can discuss about the plugin, share ideas, and help each other.

My hope is that it will help newer people with finding the right prompt for their use cases and help them get started with the plugin. At the same time I would like it to be a place where new ideas and feedback is gathered so that I can continue improving the plugin towards things that you really want.

So if you want to help share the direction of the plugin and platform, join the Discord channel! :D

FlashcardsGenerator now has images, and they are selectable!

Today FlashcardsGenerator can generate images for cards, and you can choose which one you prefer from the edit view!

This is still in experimental mode. Please let me know if you have any feedback about the experience or if you encounter any issues at ste.djokovic at gmail.com, I would be glad to hear about your experience with FlashcardsGenerator and anything I could do to improve it!

When there is an image a button will appear to select any of the other generated images.

Click on the image you want to use instead.
